Istec Services Ltd is the UK's principal supplier of high quality, precision-engineered small arm gun mounts and weapon ancillaries.

Istec was formed in 1985 by ex-Royal Ordnance personnel, cutting our teeth providing weapon ancillaries for Special Forces and Police customers worldwide. During that time, we developed a reputation as a dynamic, customer-focused company, capable of understanding customers' requirements and delivering advice and high quality products in a timely manner.

We have now grown to be the UK MoD’s main supplier of small arms gun mounts and protected weapon stations, building upon our reputation for design, manufacturing and integration in support of continuing overseas operations.

As well as providing weapon mounts for land-based systems, Istec has a great range of expertise in providing weapon mounts for naval systems, including fast-attack craft, hovercraft, landing craft and capital ships.

Recent combat operations have seen our mounts extensively used on a large range of the UK MoD’s wheeled vehicle fleet, from Jackal assault vehicles through to combat support tankers.

Istec's mounts and weapon ancillaries are currently operated by users in the USA, the UK, France, Italy, New Zealand, Canada and Saudi Arabia, as well as being provided to some of the world’s leading defence contractors.
